Deanne Lee was born in Montreal, Quebec and was raised in Tecumseh and St. Marys Ontario. She moved to Thunder Bay in 1987 to attend Lakehead University. Following her B.A. she attended McMaster University and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. Deanne has worked in a variety of settings in Thunder Bay including mental health, acute care, chronic care, palliative care, geriatric rehabilitation and acute stroke. She has been working in the private sector with Independent Rehabilitation since November 2007 and has worked in the area of auto insurance as well as Veterans Affairs Canada.

Deanne has been a registrant in good standing with the College of Occupational. She is an authorizer for the Assistive Devices Program of Ontario.
